We do allow walk-ins, but we would prefer an appointment to guarantee that you could talk to one of our wedding cake decorators

We have a sample day the first Saturday of every month from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm or until we run out of cake. We usually offer several flavors for you to try.

We require a $50.00 down payment to reserve the date. That $50.00 is subtracted from the cost of your wedding cake. We also have a wedding contract to fill out. Just basic information is needed; you can decide upon design, flavors and/or fillings at a later date.

We do have a delivery/set up fee. For the local Peoria area, the fee is $40.00 (price is subject to change).

At The Cake Shoppe, we pride ourselves in the quality of our cakes. We offer nine different flavors of cake: Chocolate, Confetti, Lemon, Marble, Orange, Spice, Strawberry, White and Yellow. We offer Cherry, Chocolate, Lemon, Raspberry, Strawberry and Vanilla Cream fillings. Flavors do not cost extra but our fillings do, depending upon the size of the wedding cake.

Yes, you can, however, we do have a strict policy concerning flavors on our larger cakes.

The Cake Shoppe offers rounds, hearts, squares, hexagons and ovals. We can combine different shapes and we offer table cakes as well.

Yes, you may. If you find a cake in a bridal magazine or off the internet, please bring it in. We will gladly look over the picture and see what we can do for you. Or, if you want to be completely creative, we can custom design a wedding cake specifically for you.

Yes, silk or fresh flowers can be used. However, we are not florists. We work with florists to design your wedding cake. We can place arranged flowers on your cake.

The Cake Shoppe accepts cash, personal checks, money orders, and certified checks. We DO NOT accept credit cards.

Yes, you can. Up to 30 days before the setup, we accept checks. Less than 30 days, we accept only cash, money orders or certified checks.
